NAMBOTVIC-21 Itinerary
Visit the breathtaking desert landscape at Sossusvlei, the hostile coastline at Swakopmund and see the unique rock paintings and desert-adapted elephants in Damaraland. Visit the largest game reserve in the world, Etosha National Park. Drive through and visit National Parks in the Caprivi Strip. Our final destination is Zimbabwe – the majestic Victoria Falls.
DAY 1 - 40km
Windhoek
Meet and greet at the Hosea Kutako International Airport.
Travel to Windhoek.
Book in at accommodation.
Tour of the city, if time permits.
Accommodation options: Thule Hotel, Arebbusch Travel Lodge, Windhoek Country Club Resort or similar. (Bed & Breakfast included, Dinner to be paid additionally)
DAY 2 - 350km
Windhoek to Sossusvlei
After breakfast we drive to Sossusvlei, en route we book into a lodge in the semi desert area.
Arrive, book in and relax.
Accommodation options: Elegant Desert Lodge, Elegant Eco Camp, Little Sossus Lodge or similar. (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast included)
DAY 3 - 300km
Deadvlei and Sossusvlei
Early wake up call, 5AM with Coffee and Cookies
We depart for Sossusvlei.
At the park we drive to the well known deadvlei.
Sight seeing includes the magnificent red sand dunes
On the return route we visit the Sesriem Canyon.
At the lodge we relax for the rest of the day.

DAY 4 - 350km
Swakopmund
After breakfast we depart direction Swakopmund
We drive through the dessert with magnificent sightseeing.
Arrive and book in at accommodation.
Accommodation options: Swakopmund Lodge, A La Mer Hotel, Swakopmund Guest House or similar.

DAY 5 - smooth Sailing
Swakopmund
After breakfast, depart on different excursions, e.g. Catamaran boat trip.
All excursions will be organized by the guide. (to be paid additionally)
Afternoon, possibility to fly over the Skeleton Coast. (to be paid additionally)
At the lodge we relax for the rest of the day.

DAY 6 - 200km
Damaraland
Depart north along the coastline, direction Damaraland.
Arrive and book in at accommodation and sleep at the foot of the well known Brandberg.
At the lodge we relax for the rest of the day.

DAY 7 - Game Drives
Damaraland
Relaxed breakfast.
Elephant Drive hosted by lodge. (to be paid additionally)

DAY 8 - 155km
Deeper into Damaraland
We depart, direction Twyvelfontein where we will visit the bushman rock paintings and the local tribe, Damara.
On our way to the next location, we book in at accommodation.
At the lodge we relax for the rest of the day.

DAY 9 - 180km
Etosha National Park
Relaxed breakfast.
Depart direction Etosha National Park.
Book in at accommodation and have a relaxed afternoon.
Accommodation options: Etosha Safari Camp, Damara Mopane Lodge or Taleni Lodge. (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast included)
DAY 10 - Game Drives
Etosha National Park
Full day excursion into the Etosha National Park in search of the Big Four.
Optional – Hire Open gameview vehicles (to be paid additionally)

DAY 11 - 200km
Etosha National Park
Relaxed breakfast.
And depart through Etosha National Park from west to east to our next destination where we will arrive late.

DAY 12 - 600km
Caprivi Strip
Early wake up, Breakfast.
Depart on a long drive, direction Caprivi. Arrive late.
Book in at accommodation.
